What is container storage?
Container storage is the repurposing of metal shipping containers for handy, accessible & affordable self storage space. Our containers have usually only been on 1 or 2 journeys before they come to us. They have been serviced, thoroughly cleaned & insulated – ready to start a new life in one of our secure container yards. Container storage is a more affordable option than internal storage units and benefits from extended access capabilities, advanced CCTV security, and the ease of driving straight up to unload.
Are containers dry and waterproof?
Our containers are fully insulated and sealed to protect them from outdoor weather conditions, and are inspected and maintained after every use to ensure they are water-tight and ready for use.
What is self storage?
Self storage is a type of business that rents out storage units to individuals and businesses on a short-term or long-term basis. Self storage units come in a variety of sizes, so you can find one that is just right for your needs, and are typically located in secure facilities, covered by enhanced CCTV and alarm systems, and are accessible to tenants during business hours, or in some cases, on a 24/7 basis.
You can store almost anything, as long as it isn’t live, combustible, perishable or illegal. All you need to do is bring your goods, pack them into your unit and go! Your storage room is only accessible to you and you can come and go as you please during your specified access hours. Our team are available to explain how the whole process works at Apex Self Storage, and can answer any questions you may have. Get in touch with your local branch here.
